It was an honour to paint this Catholic Church (built in 1905) located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. It was interesting to study the late victorian gothic architecture.
This watercolour painting was initially made for their booklet, later it was adapted to Postcards and Notecards.
This quirky wedding invitation suite is inspired by a lovely story of Tom & Bérengère who met near a river in Lyon, France.
Tom is from England and Bérengère from France. The custom portraits of Tom and Bérengère were incorporated in the wedding invitation and thank you cards. This summer wedding took place in a hotel on the banks of a river at Lyon city, France. There is an illustrated cityscape with venue and other famous buildings on the front cover and back side of the folded invite. The wedding party happened in a cruise and little illustrations of guests were shown rejoicing while sailing away in the river.
Vibrant summer flowers and fruit were added to highlight the summer wedding. Bérengère loved the florals on the Menu, so it was adapted it to the name cards. Fruit and fern icons for men place cards and florals for women.
The beautiful wedding images are shot by Yanis.

It was my first time exhibiting with ‘By Hand from the Heart‘, organised by Deepa & Kshiti. It was also the first time Tinyfarm launched with a collection of stationery. We met such lovely people as customers, fellow artists, entreprenuers, volunteers and helpers. The response was overwhelming and I look forward to going back to the next edition in Chennai.
I had started with a series of illustrations inspired by people and culture of Chennai city sometime ago. I was an outsider to the city five years back; its people, streets, food and temples were such a visual treat that I found my of expressing the beauty through illustrations.
These illustrations were made into Canvas prints along with the floral watercolour series done for 2016 desk calendar. For the maker’s market I made pocket notebooks and coasters as part of ‘namma chennai’ collection.
