Floral series / canvas prints

Illustration series called ‘namma chennai‘ and floral series was part of the group art show at Lalit kala academi, Chennai this February. To peek into the show and printed canvases, pls view the last post here.

Floral collection was inspired by the desk calendar designed for 2016. You can see the post on calendar here. Each flower has a symbolic meaning and various flowers were hand-painted for the calendar.

We are taking orders this month for custom sizes for any of these canvases! Write to riddhi@tinyfarm.in for more details.

Art show / Maker’s Market

It was my first time exhibiting with ‘By Hand from the Heart‘, organised by Deepa & Kshiti. It was also the first time Tinyfarm launched with a collection of stationery. We met such lovely people as customers, fellow artists, entreprenuers, volunteers and helpers. The response was overwhelming and I look forward to going back to the next edition in Chennai.

I had started with a series of illustrations inspired by people and culture of Chennai city sometime ago. I was an outsider to the city five years back; its people, streets, food and temples were such a visual treat that I found my of expressing the beauty through illustrations.

These illustrations were made into Canvas prints along with the floral watercolour series done for 2016 desk calendar. For the maker’s market I made pocket notebooks and coasters as part of ‘namma chennai’ collection.
